What should I do if I have car trouble when traveling on the bridge?

Confederation Bridge is under full surveillance 24 hours a day and employs a dedicated towing service. To request assistance, contact Bridge Control using the emergency telephones located on the bridge light standards, or directly at 902.437.7349.

Will I be able to see over the barrier wall when I am crossing the bridge?

At 1.1 metres in height, the Bridge’s barrier wall is one of the highest in the world. Only those users traveling in higher vehicles such as full-sized SUV’s, vans, trucks, and buses will be able to see the water below while crossing.
