Due to safety concerns, pedestrians and cyclists are not permitted on the Confederation Bridge. To accommodate these users, Bridge personnel operate a shuttle service on a load-and-go schedule, 24-hours a day, 365 days a year.

Passengers are asked to notify Bridge Control of their arrival using the direct telephone lines located at the shuttle drop-off locations in both Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick. In order to better accommodate larger groups, please contact Bridge Control at 902.437.7349 in advance of your arrival. Please note that children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult for the crossing.
The Confederation Bridge pedestrian shuttle operates between two locations:
Bridge shuttle personnel will collect round-trip fees of $4.50 per pedestrian and $9.00 per cyclist prior to departing Prince Edward Island. Note that fees are not collected when travelling from New Brunswick to Prince Edward Island.
